AHG Tyre and Rim Insurance

Whether your wheels and tyres are ‘the jewel in the crown’, or simply the round bits that roll along the road, one thing’s for sure: They’re not cheap to replace. An average rim and tyre costs around $350 to replace, but if you have fancy mags or low profiles tyres, you could be up for as much as $1000 per wheel! And there’s no getting around it - without them, you’re going nowhere, so if they’re damaged you HAVE to get them fixed.

Unfortunately, regular vehicle insurances - like comprehensive - don’t cover damaged tyres and rims. But you can still buy some peace of mind…

With AHG’s Tyre and Rim Insurance, you can rest easy - If your tyres or rims are damaged, it’s not going to break the bank or keep you off the road. Because we’ll pay to repair or replace it.

What AHG Tyre and Rim Insurance covers

Tyres punctured or damaged by a pothole, kerb, nail, screw, metal, piece of glass, road debris or blowout. We’ll fix or replace them up to $350 per tyre.

Wheel rims cracked, warped or misshapen by a pothole, kerb, nail, screw, metal, piece of glass, road debris or blowout. We’ll fix or replace them up to $1000 per wheel.

Up to $120 to have you towed to the nearest AHG Dealership, repairer or place of safety, if there’s no spare wheel or tyre in your vehicle at the time.
